We postulated that potent VCP-inhibition using both NMS-873 or DBeQ (25μM or 50 μM) would block VCP-mediated proteostasis that will not only lead to NFκB-inhibition but also hamper NSCLC cell growth and invasion due to aggregation of ubiquitinated-proteins in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). This evidence concerns the gene VCP and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
