CD4 and malaria: Secondary endpoints: undetectable (less than 400 copies/mL) HIV viral load and CD4 cell count assessed every 24 weeks, incidence of WHO HIV stage 2-, 3- or 4-defining illnesses or death, the occurrence of any suspected and laboratory-confirmed infection with bacteria or malaria, the occurrence of grade 3 or above adverse events (AEs) and rate of discontinuation of TS or CQ prophylaxis.
