Previously published work by Meyer et al. [17] on the nutritional status of children with IgE and non-IgE mediated allergy under dietetic care in the UK have found that 11.9 and 3.7 % were stunted and wasted respectively and that the number of foods eliminated only made an impact on Wtage but not WtHt or Htage. The gene discussed is IGHE; the disease is allergic disease.
