Our analysis showed that the predicted target genes of these miRNAs are principally involved into the following EMT and MET-associated pathways: ECM-receptor interaction, Wnt pathway, gap junction, transcriptional misregulation in cancer, TGF-beta pathway, pathways in cancer, MAPK signaling pathway, p53 signaling pathway, focal adhesion, PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, regulation of actin cytoskeleton (Table 5) [11,42–45]. The gene discussed is AKT1; the disease is cancer.
