A strong co-occurrence of alterations in MTMR7 and MTMR9 genes was observed in human CRC (n=631 cases; Odds ratio >3, *p<0.001, Fisher Exact test) and the CCLE (n=1019; Odds ratio 1.552, *p<0.001, Fisher Exact test), consistent with the biochemical evidence that MTMR7 forms heterodimers with MTMR9 [9]. This evidence concerns the gene MTMR7 and colorectal carcinoma.
