OXSM and Wilson disease: GAR1 was identified to be connected to third neighbour of ATX1 through ROK1, CSR1, YSR3. Investigation of these paths revealed that the genes involved in lipid biosynthesis (LCB3, CSR1, CEM1, and YSR3), cell cycle (SIC1, IME2, CDC13, and FMP45) and rRNA processing (ROK1, GAR1) take place on the paths connecting ATX1 to GAR1. Previously, lipid metabolism and cell cycle machinery were identified to be altered in the mouse model of Wilson disease [28].
