Our research data showed that after 4 weeks chemotherapy, the percentages of CD3 +, CD4 +, CD4 +/CD8 +, and NK cell in the two groups were significantly decreased and there were statistically significant differences (P <0.01) as compared with that before treatment, which indicated that the cellular immune function in both groups was seriously damaged, which suggested that strengthened glutamine therapy can promote the recovery of immune function in ALL patients. The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
