While our previous results show that in human CLL skewed and overrepresented CD4+ T cells consist of PD-1+ exhausted T cells [19], our data presented in this manuscript suggest that overrepresented CD8+ as well as CD4/CD8 double negative (DN) T cells frequently belong to the CD161+ CD3+ T cell compartment. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
