BAFF serum levels were significantly higher in MS patients (0.82 ng/ml Kruskal-Wallis test with Dunn’s multiple comparison test, p = 0.0036), IND patients (0.95 ng/ml; Kruskal-Wallis test with Dunn’s multiple comparison test, p = 0.0055) than in HCs (0.56 ng/ml) whereas BAFF levels were not statistically significant in NIND (0.77 ng/m) and UND patients (0.66 ng/ml) with Dunn’s multiple comparison test (Fig. 1A).
