As L-selectin expression in neutrophils of diabetes patients and control groups were reported to be similar52, 53 and PSGL-1 expression decreases in PMA-activated leukocytes37 which can affect their rolling functionalities54, 55, these prompted us to measure neutrophil PSGL-1 expression and its rolling phenotype on E-selectin in T2DM patients.
