After validating the levels of DAPK1, UNC5B, and netrin‐1 by IHC (Fig EV4B–D), anti‐active caspase‐3 IHC staining was performed on tumor sections and revealed that the silencing of DAPK1 or UNC5B fully prevents the activation of caspase‐3 mediated by the combination treatment, while DAC monotherapy resulted in a marked increase in caspase‐3 activity when NTN1 was silenced. The gene discussed is DAPK1; the disease is neoplasm.
