Since ACE has a higher affinity and potency for mammalian nAChRs compared to those of other neonicotinoids (Tomizawa and Casida, 1999; Kimura-Kuroda et al., 2012), we here studied effects of perinatal exposure to ACE on murine behaviors later in adulthood, focusing on socio-sexual and anxiety-related behaviors and behavioral flexibility.
