All benign prostatic and PCa tissues showed nearly uniform expression levels of the housekeeping genes glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH), beta-actin (AKTB), chromosome 1 open reading frame 43 (C1orf43), charged multivesicular body protein 2A (CHMP2A) and proteasome subunit beta (PSMB) type 2 and 4, as well as the prostate luminal epithelial marker proteins cytokeratin (KRT) 8 and 18 (Supplementary Figure S1). This evidence concerns the gene LTAP1 and posterior cortical atrophy.
