Specifically, every standard deviation higher concentration of Ang-1 was associated with an estimated 19 % lower adjusted risk of AKI (95 % confidence interval (CI): 11 % lower to 33 % lower, p < 0.001; Table 3) and every standard deviation higher concentration of Ang-2 was associated with an estimated 22 % higher risk of AKI (95 % CI: 18 % higher to 26 % higher, p < 0.001; Table 3).
