Three KEGG pathways (colorectal cancer, regulation of actin cytoskeleton, and basal cell carcinoma), two GO pathways (cellular component disassembly involved in apoptosis, and nucleus organization), and four BioCarta pathways (Ras signaling pathway, T-cell receptor signaling pathway, Ras-independent pathway in natural killer (NK) cell-mediated cytotoxicity, and links between Pyk2 and Map Kinases) showed significant associations with BCC risk. This evidence concerns the gene PTK2B and basal cell carcinoma.
