FACS analysis showed that the number of BMDMs (F4/80+/CD45high, Sr-a1+/+ glioma: 57.3% ± 5.71%, Sr-a1−/− glioma: 74.0% ± 4.05%) but not microglia (F4/80+/CD45low, Sr-a1+/+ glioma: 42.1% ± 5.63%, Sr-a1−/− glioma: 25.6% ± 4.25%) was significantly increased in Sr-a1−/− gliomas compared with Sr-a1+/+ gliomas (Figure 4E), suggesting that SR-A1 deficiency promoted BMDM infiltration into tumors.
