CD68 and neoplasm: By immunohistochemical staining analysis, it was observed that CD68 (a marker of macrophages) and CD3 (a marker of T cells) expressions in tumor tissues from LNT-treated mice were much higher than those in the control and Cytoxan groups (Fig. 2A,B), indicating that LNT triggered strong immune responses to induce infiltration of immune cell populations to the tumor microenvironment.
