VEGFA and osteosarcoma: Wang et al. [27] conducted the first case-control study of the VEGF gene and reported that the +936C/T polymorphism was associated with increased osteosarcoma risk in a Chinese population (T vs. C: OR = 1.31, 95% CI = 1.02–1.68, P = 0.04; TT vs. CC: OR = 2.70, 95% CI = 1.34–5.45, P < 0.01).
