In summary, this study demonstrates that both RIOK2 and NOB1 play key roles as prognostic markers for poor outcomes in NSCLC patients, and although high expression levels of either RIOK2 or NOB1 were associated with a poor survival rate, the high expression of RIOK2 and NOB1 together resulted in the lowest survival rates. The gene discussed is RIOK2; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
