CYP2R1, CYP7B1, CYP8B1, CYP46A1 and CYP51A1 all showed significantly increased expression in primary colorectal cancer compared to normal colonic mucosa with CY7B1 demonstrating the highest proportion of strong immunoreactivity in colorectal cancer compared to all other enzymes studied. This evidence concerns the gene CYP7B1 and colorectal cancer.
