Langerød et al. showed that the upregulated genes in carcinomas with a TP53 mutation (e.g., CCNB2, CDCA5, and CENPA) were involved in the cell cycle and cell proliferation, whereas the downregulated genes (e.g., IRS1, ESR1, and DNAL1) were highly associated with ER status52. Here, CDCA5 is linked to carcinoma.
