Using the optimal cutoffs derived from the ROC curves a combination of IL-10, IL-6, and AFP produced better sensitivity (92%) and specificity (92.3%), so discriminating analysis based on AFP, IL-6, and IL-10 had high diagnostic accuracy in discriminating HCC from non-HCC benign liver diseases, especially among patients with low (<20 ng/mL) AFP level, and these results were in agreement with the previous studies [42, 55, 56]. Here, IL6 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
