The mRNA expressions of all three genes were significantly higher in the patients than in the controls [CTNNB1: 40.16 (20.13–107.17) vs 0.77 (0.52–2.53), p < 0.001; SFRP1: 10.22 (1.58–26.36) vs 2.23 (0.31–7.68), p = 0.008; WNT3A: 11.16 (2.24–58.23) vs 0.84 (0.39–2.37), p < 0.001], implying that their roles in the regulation of TB progression. Here, WNT3A is linked to tuberculosis.
