The dominant pattern of three significant SNPs in CTNNB1 (rs3864004, rs9859392 and rs9870255) was associated with obviously decreased CTNNB1 mRNA levels both in all 79 subjects and in 50 TB patients (pall = 0.004, pTB = 0.034), however, no association was found in healthy controls (pHC = 0.080). This evidence concerns the gene CTNNB1 and tuberculosis.
