Vaishampayan et al. [58] found that lycopene supplementation alone (30 mg day−1 in two doses) or combined with soy isoflavones (40 mg day-1 in two doses) had activity in prostate cancer patients with PSA relapse disease and may delay progression of both hormone-refractory and hormone-sensitive prostate cancer.
