KIDINS220 and neoplasm: We also determined whether knockdown of Kidins220 in the androgen-independent PC3 cells would inhibit angiogenesis in vivo by measuring the final hemoglobin content using Drabkin's reagent kit in the xenografts and found that hemoglobin content in the tumor xenografts of cells with Kidins220 knockdown was significantly (P = 1.96 × 10−2) decreased compared with control cells transfected with non-targetting shRNA (Figure 6C).
