The following study also showed that LY294002 could induce miR-135a expression and down regulate RBAK and MMP11 mRNA and protein level simultaneously in a dose-dependent manner (Figure 6B–6F), indicating that PI3K/AKT signaling was involved in regulation of miR-135a expression in androgen-independent PCa cells.
