While FIGO stage was shown to be an important factor of recurrence of cervical cancer [7], here we further demonstrated that patients with tumors displaying high staining for SKP2 were more likely to recur at locoregional site (HRs: 3.76, CI, 1.91–7.16, p < 0.001) compared with patients who had lower SKP2 expression after radiation therapy. Here, SKP2 is linked to cervical cancer.
