Ling et al. reported that ectopic expression of RHOBTB2 in two human metastatic breast cancer cell lines, MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-435, inhibits cell migration and invasiveness through a mechanism that involves upregulation of BRMS1 (breast cancer metastasis suppressor 1) and decreased phosphorylation of ezrin and Akt2 [50]. This evidence concerns the gene RHOBTB2 and breast carcinoma.
