ROC curve analysis of the diagnostic value of total IgE showed an area under the curve (AUC) = 0.770 (95% CI = 0.707–0.833, p < 0.001) in food allergies and AUC = 0.817 (95% CI = 0.796–0.837, p < 0.001) in inhalant allergies (Figure 1). The gene discussed is IGHE; the disease is food allergy.
