As shown in Table 3, in CHD outcome model (efficacy endpoint), after adjusting for potential confounding covariates including age, gender, smoking status, SBP, LDL cholesterol, Lp(a), Hs-CRP, hypertension, diabetes and statins, aspirin therapy reduced the risk of CHD, with OR of 0.85 (95 % CI: 0.80-0.94, P < 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and hypertensive disorder.
