Interestingly, the increasing of Wnt3a+ macrophages after DHA treatment was directly correlated with the number of CD206+ macrophages (r = 0.88, p<0.01, Table 7) and inversely correlated with the number of S100A9+ macrophages (r = -0.73, p<0.05, Table 7), NAS score (r = -0.778, p<0.01), steatosis (r = -0.691, p<0.05), DR extension (r = -0.68, p<0.05), and serum levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-alpha: r = 0.641, p<0.05; IL-1B: r = 0.735, p<0.02). This evidence concerns the gene WNT3A and neonatal abstinence syndrome.
