Taking into consideration the over-expression of NF-κB that contributes to the up-regulation of VEGF mRNA expression resulting in the VEGF-induced angiogenesis through in many tumors (42, 43), including prostate cancer [41], we focused the study on looking at the effect of MenSCs-exosomes on NF-κB activity to elucidate the possible mechanism behind the modulation of the tumor cell secretome. Here, NFKB1 is linked to prostate cancer.
