Our data is in agreement with several studies that have correlated quercetin treatment with cell migration inhibition in cancers such as melanoma [50], teratocarcinoma [51], BC by inhibition of the PKCδ/ERK/AP-1 signaling [52], gliobastoma by IL-6 induction [53], and oral cancer by inhibition of MAPK, PI3K/Akt, Nf-κB, and uPA signaling [54]. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and melanoma.
