MACC1, as a key regulator of hepatocyte growth factor (HGF)/c-Met/mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPK) signaling pathway[5–7], promotes the proliferation, migration, and invasion of GC cells[8], as well as affecting the tumor glycometabolism[9] and microenvironment[4, 10, 11], at last predicting poor clinical outcome for GC patients[8].
