In general, both combined NS1 Ag Strip/IgM ELISA and combined qRT-PCR/IgM ELISA tests showed comparable diagnostic sensitivities in both primary and secondary dengue, though the combined NS1 Ag Strip/IgM ELISA showed slightly higher sensitivity (99% vs 93%) in primary dengue while the combined qRT-PCR/IgM ELISA showed slightly higher sensitivity (99% vs 96%) in secondary dengue.
