For these studies we took advantage of prostate cell lines that were previously characterized with respect to SSX2 expression [14]: 22Rv1 (a prostate cancer cell line with high SSX2 expression), LNCaP (a prostate cancer cell line with low SSX2 expression), DU145 and PC3 (prostate cancer cell lines with no SSX2 expression), and RWPE-1 (a prostate epithelial cell line with no SSX2 expression). This evidence concerns the gene SSX2 and prostate cancer.
