UCN2 and heart failure: At the doses used, urocortin 3 caused greater mean increases than urocortin 2 in cardiac index (+13.4 [+4.1 to +22.6], P < 0.01) and heart rate (+11.0 [+2.9 to +19.2], P < 0.01) and greater mean reductions in mean arterial pressure (+4.4 [0.0 to +8.7], P < 0.05) and peripheral vascular resistance index (+11.2 [2.2 to +20.1], P < 0.01) in patients with heart failure.
