Urocortin 2, urocortin 3 and substance P all evoked dose‐dependent forearm arterial vasodilatation in both participant groups (mean changes across the three doses [95% CI] from baseline as follows: urocortin 2 +60% [9–111] P < 0.05, +72% [21–123] P < 0.01; urocortin 3 +167% [100–237] P < 0.0001, +151% [82–219] P < 0.0001; substance P +227% [130–326] P < 0.0001, +155% [57–253] P < 0.001 for healthy controls and heart failure patients, respectively; Figure 2A).
