In this study, we used the ADAMTS10-mutant canine model, a clinically well-described and naturally occurring open-angle glaucoma (OAG) model, to investigate the influence of age and ADAMTS10 mutation on scleral biomechanical properties in the affected animals, as compared to the normal controls that had neither the mutation nor IOP elevations. The gene discussed is ADAMTS10; the disease is open-angle glaucoma.
