PNMA3 and infection: Notably, clues of cultivar-viral strain double interactions were found: Among the deregulated genes, many of them coincided with those inhibited in Tendral that did not suffer changes in plants infected with MNSV-Mα5, which suggested the importance of those genes in the infection processes by MNSV-Mα5/3’264 and its differential behavior depending on the melon genotype.
