Furthermore, both pretreatment and posttreatment with sgp130, a potent IL-6/sIL-6R trans-signaling inhibitor, remarkably attenuated the bone cancer induced overexcitability of DRG neurons and hyperalgesia in BCP rats, indicating that IL-6/sIL-6R trans-signaling was involved in the development of BCP by inducing DRG neurons hyperexcitability.
