Our RNA sequencing analysis performed on FT194 Fallopian tube secretory epithelial cells and SKOV-3 ovarian adenocarcinoma cells confirmed that PAX8 is expressed at similar levels in these two cell types (Supplementary Table S2), supporting the hypothesis that PAX8 is not overexpressed in epithelial ovarian carcinoma but rather that its expression is conserved from the suggested cell of origin [38]. This evidence concerns the gene PAX8 and ovarian adenocarcinoma.
