Stable transfection of miR-337-3p precursor into gastric cancer cells resulted in increased binding of AGO2 and epigenetic markers histone H3 lysine 9 dimethylation (H3K9me2) and histone H3 lysine 27 trimethylation (H3K27me3), and decreased binding of histone H3 lysine 4 trimethylation (H3K4me3) and MZF1 on MMP-14 promoter (Figure 3K), which were abolished by knockdown of AGO2 (Figure 3K). The gene discussed is AGO2; the disease is gastric cancer.
