Blockage of Ca2+ signaling with the calcium chelator eliminated FOSB induction and disrupted TP4-induced cell death (Figure 5C–5E); however, we did not examine whether FOSB induction by anthracyclines can be eliminated through Ca2+ blockage, and whether elimination of FOSB activation can disrupt anthracycline-induced BC cell death. This evidence concerns the gene FOSB and breast cancer.
