Such interaction may provide additional complexity to Ca2+ cell signalling as we have recently reported a significant association of SNPs in genes of muscarinic acetylcholine receptors M3 from the same cohort of CFS/ME patients who had significant association of SNPs in their TRPM3 genes from peripheral blood mononuclear cells [54]. This evidence concerns the gene TRPM3 and myalgic encephalomeyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome.
