To investigate the molecular mechanisms by which FOXP2 expression might contribute to aggressive disease and thus a poor clinical outcome, we compared the gene expression profiles of DLBCL patients with (n = 11) and without (n = 28) FOXP2 protein expression using an existing gene expression dataset (GSE31312) that was available for a subset of patients from this cohort (Figure 5A; Table S1).
