This result indicated that the methylation of four CpG islands (CpG-116, CpG-80, CpG+97, and CpG+102) of the RNF180 DNA promoter could enhance the invasion of gastric cancer cells (PCpG-116 VS vehicle =0.041, PCpG-80 VS vehicle =0.020, PCpG+97 VS vehicle =0.023, and PCpG+102 VS vehicle <0.001). This evidence concerns the gene RNF180 and gastric cancer.
