There were significantly higher levels of the adhesion proteins assayed in melanoma patient's serum than in that from the controls: 1.3 ± 0.1 ng/ml and 0.82 ± 0.1 ng/ml of PG in serum, respectively, and 14.1 ± 0.4 μg/ml and 9.7 ± 0.7 μg/ml of VN, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene JUP and melanoma.
