CRP and obesity disorder: After further analysis by logistic regression (Table 4), it is reported that ages 40–59 years (OR = 2.07; 95% CI: 1.50–2.86; p < 0.001), ages 60–80 years (OR = 4.73; 95% CI: 3.26–6.87; p < 0.001), preobesity (OR = 1.28; 95% CI: 1.01–1.62; p = 0.04), obesity (OR = 2.34; 95% CI: 1.71–3.21; p < 0.001), elevated TG (OR = 1.16; 95% CI: 1.07–1.26; p < 0.001), and elevated CRP (OR = 1.05; 95% CI: 1.02–1.07; p < 0.001) were significantly associated with an increased risk of diabetes.
