Mao et al. [19] reported that resistance to cisplatin is increased by YAP2 and silent mating type information regulation 2 homolog 1 (SIRT1) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells, indicating that both YAP2 and SIRT1 protect HCC cells from the chemotherapeutic drug cisplatin.
