These analyses showed i) a strong trend to higher levels of GAPDH mRNA (p = 0.06) in BA 8 (Fig. 4d), ii) higher levels of GAPDH (p = 0.02) and SNCA (p = 0.04) mRNA in BA 9 (Fig. 4e) and iii) lower levels of PPIA (p = 0.04), SNCA (p = 0.02) and NOL9 (p = 0.04) in BA 44 (Fig. 4f) from subjects with schizophrenia. Here, GAPDH is linked to schizophrenia.
